Head of Surgical Education:
The Head of Surgical Education is the academic backbone of YSSA ZH. They oversee the smooth operation of all surgical student societies and coordinate educational initiatives.
Responsibilities include managing projects like clinical insights for early-year students, supporting new academic programs, and driving innovation in surgical education.

Head of Surgical Training:
The Head of Surgical Training is responsible for the hands-on side of YSSA ZH. They organize surgical skills workshops, work with hospitals and experts, and ensure that members get
top-quality, practical training opportunities. Responsibilities include managing the training calendar, recruiting tutors, and innovating new formats to sharpen student’s skills.

Head of Events:
The Head of Events leads the planning and execution of YSSA ZH’s iconic How to Become a Surgeon Series and social activities. They coordinate logistics, manage event teams, and ensure that every YSSA event runs smoothly and memorably. Responsibilities include working closely with partners, finding new event ideas, and ensuring a high educational standard in all activities.

Head of Communications:
The Head of Communication shapes the image of YSSA ZH. They manage our Instagram, LinkedIn, and website, create engaging content, and ensure consistent, professional
communication. Responsibilities include social media management, promotion of events, and internal communication with members.

Head of External Affairs:
The Head of External Affairs builds and strengthens YSSA ZH’s network. They manage collaborations with hospitals, surgeons, associations, and industry partners. Responsibilities include creating partnership opportunities, attending external meetings, and ensuring YSSA ZH’s voice is heard in the wider surgical community.
